At MyPlaceBina, we are committed to making your rental experience smooth, transparent,
and hassle-free. This Payment Policy explains the accepted payment methods, due dates, security practices,
and procedures for all rent and related charges when leasing an apartment through
myplacebina.com or at our Independence, Missouri location.

1) Accepted Payment Methods

  • Online Payments: Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover).
  • Bank Transfers / ACH: Direct transfer from your financial institution.
  • Checks or Money Orders: Payable to MyPlaceBina, delivered to our leasing office.
  • Cash: Accepted only in person at the leasing office (subject to office policy).

2) Rent Due Dates

  • Monthly rent is due on the 1st of each month, unless otherwise stated in your lease agreement.
  • Payments received after the 5th of the month may incur late fees as outlined in your lease.

3) Security Deposits

  • Security deposits must be paid in full before move-in.
  • Deposits are held in accordance with Missouri state law and returned after move-out minus any lawful deductions (damages, unpaid rent, cleaning fees).

4) Other Fees & Charges

  • Application fees, administrative fees, and pet deposits (if applicable) must be paid prior to lease signing.
  • Utility charges, parking fees, or other add-ons will be billed as specified in your lease agreement.

5) Late Payments

  • Late payments are subject to penalties as detailed in the lease agreement.
  • Repeated late payments may result in additional actions including lease termination or legal proceedings.

6) Secure Transactions

We use SSL-encrypted payment systems and trusted financial partners to process online payments.
MyPlaceBina does not store your complete financial details.

7) Returned or Failed Payments

  • A NSF (Non-Sufficient Funds) fee may apply for bounced checks or declined payments.
  • Tenants must promptly resolve failed transactions to avoid additional fees or eviction actions.
