As an apartment rental community, MyPlaceBina does not “ship” physical goods like an online store.
This policy explains our timelines and procedures for application processing, lease documents, key/access handover, move-in scheduling, and package handling at
myplacebina.com and our Independence, Missouri property.
1) Application & Document Processing
- Processing Time: Rental applications are typically reviewed within 1–3 business days after we receive all required information and fees.
- Communication: Approvals/next steps are sent via email or phone using the contact details you provide.
2) Lease Issuance & Signing
- Upon approval, your lease and addenda are sent electronically for e-signature.
- Move-in dates cannot be confirmed until the lease is fully executed and initial payments (rent, deposit, fees) have cleared.
3) Move-In Scheduling
- Standard move-ins are scheduled during office hours. Weekend/after-hours requests may be accommodated subject to availability and fees.
- Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to coordinate elevator/loading area access (if applicable).
4) Keys, Fobs & Access
- Keys/fobs/garage remotes are released on or after the lease start date once all move-in conditions are met.
- Lost or additional keys/fobs may incur replacement fees as stated in your lease.
5) Utilities & Internet
- Tenants are responsible for establishing utilities as required by the lease (electric, gas, water, internet, etc.).
- Activate utilities before your move-in to ensure uninterrupted service.
6) Furniture & Third-Party Deliveries
- Large deliveries (furniture/appliances) must be scheduled during quiet hours compliant times and follow building rules.
- Delivery teams must protect common areas (flooring/walls). Any damage will be billed per the lease.
7) Mail & Packages
- Update your mailing address after move-in. Most parcels are delivered by USPS/UPS/FedEx directly to your unit, mailbox, or package area if available.
- MyPlaceBina is not responsible for lost, delayed, or stolen packages handled by third-party carriers.
8) Maintenance Access
- Non-emergency work orders are scheduled during business hours with prior notice per lease and local law.
- Emergency maintenance may require immediate entry to protect health/safety and prevent property damage.
9) Address & Contact Accuracy
- Please keep your phone, email, and emergency contact information up to date for timely notifications.
- Incorrect or outdated contact information may delay move-in coordination or important notices.
